How do I use this page?
Hello and welcome to Lakshmi's Healing Garden. Have you been suffering from a lack of beauty and an abundance of despair? You have come to the right place! Pull this website up whenever you are craving peace and bask in the ambience of the illustrious and supreme Goddess Lakshmi. You may even leave an offering at her altar.

Lakshmi

Lakshmi, lady of the lotus delivers us from the pain of isolation. She is a goddess of good relationships, of all relationships.

She is the Venus principle expressed through the Anahata, rejoicing in the mundanity of social interaction, finding beauty in all things around her.

Her taste is delicate like the petals of a rose and she is quick to anger should someone express any form of ugliness; however, her anger is never expressed in ugliness, her ugliness is expressed in absence.

Lakshmi will never cause a scene, her sadness is expressed in her withdrawal. Over time, beauty recedes until the environment is shrouded in ambivalence and eventual despair.

ALakshmi

With Lakshmi’s departure, the environment becomes without Lakshmi or ALakshmi, without beauty, without relation, without taste.

From Lakshmi’s departure, her sister Alakshmi emerges.

Alakshmi is the anahata without relation. A heart completely shut off. A heart shut-off is an individual who is dying.

With all of her "inauspiciousness", it is easy to demonize Alakshmi; however, Alakshmi is like any other deity in the universe and has a lesson to teach.

How much do you really know beauty if you’ve not seen it contrasted with true ugliness?

alone you float in the cosmos
a single speck of dust
contained, confined

until one day you find
love is too powerful
to be ignored

all that exists
exists in relation
to live alone is to die
